Never heard of Kanda before encountering this. Here is an enthusiastic–if slightly hard to follow–explainer on his work.
This thing is wide open. Smooth beats and electronic moves give way to soundtrack music, acoustic interludes, guitar lines, and vocoded vocals in places. It’s a really fun listen.
