A lot of Jutbring’s previous work seems to be soundtracks to things I’ve never heard of, but I’ll be trying to listen to more.

This is a wonderful record for his own mutli-instrumental talents as well as featuring the Malva Quartet on strings for about half the tracks.

The music builds and ebbs and swoops by turns, and we get drawn into this bizarre world of beauty. The visuals that go along with it are excellent, and add to the mood despite looking much more absurdist than the music sounds.
