Blakrok is South African. She has an awe-inspiring commmand of mood and atmoshpere, and inventive and literate lyrics to back it up.

We get a spooky underworld landscape of menacing creatures and emotions and other-worldly beings, spread over rock solid bass grooves and low-key samples.
