Under Between - Dialect (2021)

This is a fascinating record. Dialect is Andrew PM Hunt, who lives on the outer edge of wonky, experimental sounds (and Liverpool, apparently). He has a collage style of painting densely populated landscapes with diverse sounds (this is his fourth album; I’ll have to get on this).

There aren’t any crescendos or big singles, but it would be weird if there were in this context.

What you get is a highly organic mix where nothing quite fits together but everything makes perfect sense.
