Aura - Hatis Noit (2022)

Ideated from: some new releases I’ve been playing heavily

This was a revelation.

She puts a wild array of vocal styles and chanting techniques into one unique sound, and layers them over themselves to create soundscapes made entirely with her voice.

Crazy inventive and absolutely riveting. I’ve been listening for weeks.

Tracks I Liked

Aura - great intro to what she does

Thor - more of a classical / operatic direction, but still thoroughly modern.
