David Moore is the pianist and composer who leads Bing & Ruth.
They make some striking work that is very much in the ambient space, but comes alive slowly into more modern classical territory.
This second album of theirs is a delight. It’s about as unobtrusive a record as you’ll find, but I had a very pleasant morning of reading and listening to this as the soundtrack.
You drift off into all sorts of sonic territory: sometimes fierce, sometimes beautiful, always engrossing.
