Environments 4 - Future Sound Of London (2012)

FSOL are a favorite of mine (O_o), one of the original outfits that got me interested in electronic music back in the halcyon days.

While they aren’t in the conversation as much as they used to be, they’ve never really stopped working. They have a constant stream of broadcasts that have gone out over the internet for years, and occasionally collect some of that material into an album.

This is such an example. It’s always ready to provide your day with a little extra texture. Once in a while you stop and say “shit, this is pretty good.”

Architektur - a powerful statement that they know what they’re doing.

Murmurations - more percussion-heavy than average

Sunsets - unusually trip hop sounding for FSOL, but great
