I Don't Want To See You In Heaven - The Callous Daoboys (2025)

This band’s 2022 record, Celebrity Therapist, got listened to a lot. I was really into it, and then I kind of forgot about them until they dropped another one.

More fool me.

I don’t know if I need to add a “mathcore” tag. this tends to be the metal-ish end of math rock, which is already pretty esoteric and nit-picky so maybe not.

The point is, these guys get you singing along, then smash your head into the bar, then demand to know why you stopped singing. I am here for it.

Two-headed Trout - the guy’s guitar should probably be placed in foster care due to abuse, but it’s a great tune.

Lemon - a funky break from the madness that would probably work great as a single if they were at all interested in being a singles band.

Douchebag Safari - Mostly just wanted to type the title, but it’s also a great tune.
