Haken ticks a lot of boxes. Jazzy breaks, goofy sound effects, amazing vocal harmonies, and sprawling epic stories all make this one of the best prog records in recent memory.
There’s just so much here it can seem overwhelming at first. But as you listen, you find things to latch onto to find a way into the music.
