I spend a lot of time here talking about artists I don’t think get noticed as much as they deserve. I’ve only just recently discovered Brooklyn rapper Ka, aka Kaseem Ryan. He has multiple solid records and this one is no exception.

Moody tracks clear space for some of the most amazing lyrics you’ll hear in the rap game. Layers and layers of meaning stack up about his youth, hero worship of the wrong people, how a Christian upbringing affects, focuses, and distracts the hard world around him.

I could go on, but really, you should just find the lyrics and read along. Complete mastery of the language in a way you don’t hear often.
