Ditching "Krautrock" for "Kosmische"

It’s a fair point that we’re sensitive to cultural misappropriation for a lot of music from other parts of the world, but we still call 70s German art rock “Krautrock” after what is basically a hurtful epithet for Germans. As the linked post says,

But somehow I don’t think people would be quite as accepting of terms like “curryrock,” “spudrock” or “beanrock,” right?

So I’m changing the tag on here, as people are doing more often now, to “kosmische,” the German word for “cosmic.”

A quick aside: The first time I saw music called that, I misread it as “komische,” which means “weird.” I’d contend that this would have been good too.
