I wasn’t tuned into the Native Tongues movement in hip hop when it happened, but it created a lot of fantastic music that I dig after the fact. Jazzy and breezy, fun and thought-provoking.

I listened in the car and with the wife along, so I didn’t get a close listen as much as I’d like. But this is a good record to just have on, and even if you don’t listen for every nuance it’s still very enjoyable.
