Whoa Nelly - Nelly Furtado (2001)

Not much to say about this one except that it’s a pretty pleasant pop record. It was a little odd at the time because pop radio wasn’t awash in latin rhythms, but beyond that it’s a wild mix of old and new pop tropes.

A fun record that still holds up pretty well.

I’m Like A Bird - Grocery store music (which, again, is not a criticism)

My Love Grows Deeper - A pretty trippy little low-key psych pop number that I don’t think I’d heard before today. Good stuff.
