Liverpool - Shane Parish (2022)

Ideated from: ending the year with some of my favorites of 2022 that I hadn’t written up yet.

This gets labeled as “experimental.” I always wonder what that means. Is there a hypothesis that the experiment is trying to disprove? Is there a control group?

But mostly it’s just wide-open guitar noodling drawing on mulitple styles and traditions as well as a healthy dose of modernist composition.
