Return of the Space Cowboy - Jamiroquai (1994)

Jamiroquai were apparently “big in the UK” but I’d never heard of them in 1994. Like most Americans, I first came across them when they dominated MTV with Virtual Insanity a couple of years later.

This is a great record, though. The band is in great form, organically funky and soulful. Quite a few things refer to Jason Kay’s vocal “Stevie Wonder impression” and it’s hard to argue against, but it works well.
