Distorted Rooms - Radian (2023)
The basis of this is a guitar / bass / drums trio, but they use sampling and programming to create something much more dense and interesting.
As the bandcamp page explains, “Radian has always been interested in sounds that might be considered byproducts and maximizing their creative and aural potential.” The extra textures in the music come from some of the incidental sounds of the instruments, recorded and processed and added back in. There are several distinct layers, each one adding more detail.
