Tiny Resistors - Todd Sickafoose (2008)

Bassist / composer Sickafoose put together an ensemble that features drummer Allison Miller; Kneebody saxophonist Shane Endsley; and Andrew Bird (o_O), voted by his peers as most likely to be credited on a record with “violin, looping, whistling”.

Sickafoose himself plays bass, piano, organ, a number of other instruments.

The music is aggressively chill, and very pleasant. There’s a lot of intricate musicianship woven into a very smooth package.
