Hive - Teeth Of The Sea (2023)
Besides the 6 original Dune books, I’ve read more Frank Herbert books than the average nerd. This is due to a serious Dune hyperfixation in the late 80s (before there were a thousand prequel novels), and the fact that my high school library hadn’t bought a new book for its Sci Fi shelf since about 1980.
Hellstrom’s Hive, however, is not one I’d heard of. But these guys read it and made a crunchy, seething, synth-goth-prog record out of it.
