Recap - Dense 2023

Not everything heavy and loud is necessarily noisy. So I created a sort of intra-list sitting between “noisy” (heavy, in-your-face, extreme metal and the hardcore side of punk) and “bouncy” (which includes the rockier edge of pop, usually with guitars but without heavy riffs). In between is something brainy and intense and complex: sometimes harrowing, sometimes beautiful, but always demanding.
