Planet P Project - Planet P Project (1983)

shout out to my old roommate, Richard. Richard adored Pink Floyd, hated Roger Waters, and introduced me to Tony Carey and Planet P Project.

Tony Carey has had a long career that started with playing on a stone cold hard rock classic, and went on from there.

He grew Planet P as a side project to do some less-rock, more-art-pop kind of stuff.

It’s of its time, but quite well-done. I think the sound is a little thin and tinny, which might be because it doesn’t have a modern remaster like a lot of its peers.

Tracks I Liked

I Won’t Wake Up - noodly and boisterous

Why Me? - was a single i guess. I can see why

Zephyr
Toechter
dark ambient classical
