To be honest, I have never seen all of the movie. A gigantic film after it was out, this one barely got made. The kind of black swan movie that hits at just the right moment. It seems like fait accompli now, but nothing about a John Travolta disco movie was a sure bet.
The BeeGees created the songs most closely identified with the movie, but there are several other gems on here that were, as far as I can tell, not very famous until they landed on this massively successful soundtrack, one of the best-selling in history.
