I make no secret that RM (o_O) is my bias in BTS (ok, maybe Suga too) and this shows why.
Recorded on the quick and mostly in secret just before his military service started, this is a harrowing trip through the highly inventive mind of a restless artist who’s pacing his (admittedly high-paying and world-conquering) cage, looking for a way to express himself fully.
He gets assists from Little Simz and Moses Sumney, as well as members of Balming Tiger.
It’s a fun ride that has some deep lyrical pathos as well.
