A Bad Donato - João Donato (1970)
Donato was a big name in the Brazilian Bossa Nova explosion as well as Brazilian music at large.
This is an early release, recorded in New York with mostly American personnel, that launched his long career in Brazilian music. He leans a bit more into American funk and jazz than a lot of his other work, but it all sounds great.
