Buffalo rapper Conway doesn’t break a lot of new ground lyrically, but he knows what he’s about. A survivor of a tough life, he has a slur to his speech from a near-fatal shooting in 2012.

Conway flexes and mugs like a lot of street-centric rappers, but he has a lot of vocal flair. The filthy beats lope along, and his flow drags the beat to make it menacing and compelling.

Features from Joey Bada$$ (o_O), Raekwon, and Method Man don’t hurt anything, either.
