Gymnosphere Song Of The Rose - Jordan De La Sierra (1976)
It took me a minute to find that this 2014 bandcamp release was a reissue of vinyl from 1976. It probably makes more sense as 70s minimalism than as 2010s ambient.
It’s roomy and gorgeous mostly-piano music, heavy on the sustain and reverb. The modern minimalist might be tempted to sound washes or extra synths or some kind of digital manipulation, but the spectral beauty here comes entirely from the resonance of the piano and the space.
