Dance of the Demons - Web Web (2018)
Web Web is a German jazz outfit with a global vibe. They collab here with Moroccan guembri player and singer Majid Bekkas for a cool set of north-meets-south jazz.
Writing much about either of the artists would be mostly transcribing Wiki articles. It is a genuine-sounding collaboration, though; not just a one-off odd bedfellows session. The band’s calm demeanor set off Bekkas’ slightly choppier technique very well.
