Haha Sound - Broadcast (2003)
This one seems to alternate between very pleasant pop and very pleasant pop submerged in a pool of noise.
In terms of melody and song structure, it’s definitely a throwback to pure 60s pop music. They take it in some very different directions with chunky vintage synths, bell and chime drones, and an oddly detuned-sounding guitar figures.
