Everything All The Time - Band Of Horses (2006)
Band of Horses (spoiler alert: it’s actually five dudes, no horses at all) would have a lot of success and several much better-known records after this debut. But this is still probably my favorite of their releases. It’s a little more raw and urgent than the lane they would find. But the band still emerges polished and well-ordered, knowing what they want and already starting to achieve it.
Tracks I Liked
The Funeral - a generational hit, at least for guys d’un certain âge who have both a favorite Wilco album and a favorite episode of Breaking Bad.
Wicked Gil - a great little blast
