Jones (O_o o_O) , one of the greatest jazz drummers, co-leads this session with a bass player I don’t know anything about.
It’s rhythm-section-first bop that leaves plenty of room for both Davis and Jones to show off, and features sax and piano enough to make it sound like a normal 60s jazz record.
