spinning some of the amazing batch of new releases from the last month or two

I’ve kind of slept on Japanese Breakfast. Michelle Zauner’s one-woman show has several albums but this is the first I’ve really listened to. I’m really glad I did.

Lush and beautiful–and indeed melancholy–this is a wonderfully sad but life-affirming set of songs.
