The Rabbit That Hunts Tigers - Yin Yin (2019)

A Dutch band inspired by (but apparently not directly connected to) the wild sound of Thai psych music

There’s some definite Euro-style acid jazz and nu-jazz influence, which doesn’t always help it out. The band are missing a bit of the unhinged joy of some of the best of the style. It might sound a little like a book report on southeast Asian psych music in places, but it’s also very engrossing in others.
