The fact is I understand enough Spanish to realize there’s a lot here, but not enough to really have anything useful to say about it. This AllMusic write-up goes into better detail than I could provide about the ins and outs of the lyrics.
Musically, it’s not a radical album, but it’s a great overview of the kinds of things Bad Bunny can do. He works with traditional sounds and song structures in places, but veers wildly into much more modern latin beats in places.
It’s an extremely ambitious and extremely accomplished record by one of the world’s biggest artists.
