A Michigan garage rock band with a DIY attitude and an ear for a catchy tune.

They’re probably in the history books because of 96 Tears, the big hit off their first record. This follow-up features a similar mix of r&b and goofy underground rock.

Can’t Get Enough Of You Baby - I’ll be honest: I knew the Smash Mouth version wasn’t the original, but I had thought this one was. Turns out it was a Four Seasons track that was still pretty new when the Mysterians took it on.

Hangin’ On A String - a great tune I couldn’t find much info on, but seems to have been written by Christmas mega-hit composer Gloria Shayne

Smokes - An original that was basically 96 Tears vol 2 but it’s a banger
