A week of kings: I spun up my randomizer and randomly got 3 different artists with “King” in their names. So I’ve expanded it to a whole week
A Vermont indie rocker whom I haven’t really gotten into. But the good tracks on this one are fantastic.
The lyrics are sometimes urgent and sometimes wistful, but the music always plays loose with horns, synths, and up-in-the-mix drums to keep a nice sonic variety across the record.

Raindrop Blue - everything seems buried in a haze but the songcraft cuts through.

Birds Of Paradise - a great rocker that leaves room for the lyric
