All Is Wild All Is Silent - Balmorhea (2009)

Feels weird calling it “ambient country” but it really kind of is. Inspired by the wild terrain of their native Texas, these guys use piano, percussion, and traditional string band instruments to build a very pleasant soundscape that really does sound like the American West (I’ve never been to Texas but I’ve lived my whole life in other parts of the “West”)
