Arnalds mixes electronics, keyboards, and strings for something that sounds like either simple classical music or very elegant ambient.

There’s great atmosphere here, with slowly unfolding waves of melody and new instruments added into the mix as we go.

Beautiful and painstaking.

I don’t have the keyboard skills to recreate all the Icelandic-character track titles here, but I will say that the simple-to-type Gleypa Okkur is a standout.
