Manicomio A Locha - Los Dementes (1967)

There’s an entire niche industry of reissue labels on bandcamp that find little-known gems from around the world and release them into the 21st century. VampiSoul is one of these. They seem to stay mostly in the mid-century latin music arena, but there’s a ton of interesting stuff on offer.

This is the debut recording by an excellent Venezuelan Salsa band. Nothing Earth-shattering, but it’s a solid record with lots of fun tunes.
