Twisty, crunchy, proggy metal with excellent vocals and interlocking guitars.
A little late to the nu-metal goldrush, maybe, but still very well-played.
so does it sound great?
It does, although I wouldn’t expect any less from a 21st century metal band who cares about showing off their technical chops. I don’t know that it sounds way better than lots of similar records, but it’s not out of place on this list.
