Tidal Memory Exo - Iglooghost (2024)

If there’s one thing I’ve learned about Iglooghost (o_O), it’s that his marketing copy is… well, it doesn’t share the same reality as you and I inhabit.

Tidal Memory Exo is an album I made while living in a rust-ridden flooded squat in a weird UK seaside town. The area has been in an endless storm, causing strange otherworldly primordial garbage to be washed to shore. It’s basically only populated by rogue junk-hoarding scrap weirdos right now.

Um… sure, pal.

But regardless, the album is solid glitch-centric electronic stuff that never bores. “Maximalist” is a word that comes up with him, and it’s pretty apt. There’s always something shifting, dropping, or crashing.
