Planet Shhh! - Human Pyramids (2014)
Multi-instrumentalist Paul Russell leads a large and varied ensemble (or samples or emulates them; it’s not clear from promo copy) into a raucous, joyous bunch of tunes that hover in the post rock area but with a lot more joy than average.
It is a relentlessly fun and giving album, with one track after another building towers of strings, percussion, keyboards, and occasionally punchy metal-sounding guitars.
