Siren - Roxy Music (1975)

Bryan Ferry’s band was always full of quirky pop that sounded like post-punk before there really was even punk.

This is part of a string of highly-regarded albums that I don’t know as well as I’d like.

They mix wiry guitar nervousness with more conventional piano pop to make a fun album full of memorable songs.

Tracks I Liked

Love Is The Drug - slow build to a disco-y jam

She Sells - a kind of baroque doom pop

Both Ends Burning - a fun little jam

Big Swing Face
Buddy Rich
