Double Figure - Plaid (2001)
Discovered in the before times, I latched onto Plaid almost instantly. They were everything I wanted in music at the turn of the century.
This is a typically smart entry, though not as well known maybe as the two before it.
Not completely alien like FSOL but with none of the more conventional reference points of Moby or Underworld, it’s a mind-expanding trip into new sonic territory.
