Poor Davids Almanack - David Rawlings (2017)

Rawlings is an integral part of Gillian Welch’s solo work, so it’s only fair that an album with his name also features Welch on co-writing, backing vocals, and general vibe.

The two make some great, rustic-sounding music. There are enough modern touches that you wouldn’t mistake it for something older, but the the tradition of folk and country music is well-represented.
