I put this in my list becuase I thought the opener, Sin Documentos, was both a cool title and creepily awesome tune.
I had no idea that this was a guy who’d been recording since the 80s (tho in the 80s he was a teenager in the latin boy band Menudo), and who wrote Ricky Martin’s Livin La Vida Loca.
He’s got a smoky, emotive voice that suits the songs well. There’s kind of a cumbia-flavored lounge sound that reminds me (minus the cumbia) of the best moments of Arctic Monkeys.
