An all-around-the-world trio of Jally Kebba Susso on the West African Kora, Andrea Seki on Celtic Harp, and Kiranpal Singh on the Indian Santoor.
I don’t know the intstruments very well, so it’s sometimes hard to distinguish who’s playing what. The Santoor is played with hammers like a dulcimer, so that’s pretty easy to pick out. But everything blends together effortlessly and each musician takes turns driving the music forward.
Modern and timeless at once.
