Heart Of Oak - Anciients (2013)
A great kick in the teeth from Vancouver. They tag their BC page with the bands they sound a lot like: baroness, mastodon, opeth (as well as the misspelled “pschedelic”) and it’s pretty descriptive.
Occasional growly death metal breakdowns, but otherwise melodic and riff-heavy.
