A Boston outfit that’s pretty standard bluegrass except for featuring a cello in the band.

All the tunes I recognize are American traditionals of one sort or another. It’s fun and spirited and doesn’t take weight of traditions too seriously.

Especially on some of the more “black spiritual” type songs like Ain’t No Grave, it has the oddly bent energy I feel when I hear a high school choir of mostly white kids singing Joshua Fit The Battle with perfect diction, but I suppose that’s mostly just me.
