It is excellent black metal, with a pounding beat and and great guitar work. I don’t hear a lot of indigenous American sounds myself, but that doesn’t mean it’s not there. Maybe I just don’t have an ear for it.
There’s no point quibbling over details when a metal record is this top-notch.
