The Paisley Underground was a loose term for west coast neo-psych in the early 80s. We already heard what the darker waters of the movement were like, but these guys were more in the center of the movement.
It’s all pleasant and popping, with lots of happy glimmer.
The style was far underground at the time, but paved the way for a lot of later 80s pop music.
