Circle - Pharaoh Overlord (2016)
Circle (o_o) have a lot of releases, none of which seem to sound much like the others.
Circle also seem to record under the name Pharaoh Overlord, as well as apparently having let other artists record under their Circle name. I don’t know, and didn’t really find a good explanation.
Anyway, this is apparently alternately called Circle by the artist Pharaoh Overlord, or Pharaoh Overlord by the artist Circle. It’s their take on kosmische music, the mid-20th-century wave of abstract body music out of Germany.
It’s a great listen, free of much overt gesture but with plenty of detail and texture. They don’t try to copy the sonic qualities of 70s koscmische for the most part, but use modern sounds to build similar structures.

Villaa - the longest track is the best, with plenty of room to stretch.
